Castawaykids Construction Committee
In 2009, the flooding from Hurricane Jimena hit some surrounding areas very hard with 36? of rain in 24 hours. Lots of folks lost their homes and everything in them and were living in “Shelter Box” tents. After the Jimena Group finished helping the peoples needs, our Construction Committee worked hard all the winter season to build starter houses for 43 families and got everybody out of those tents.
Our construction committee is still active. We are now looking at a program of adopting a family and build a starter house for $2,000. One of those is underway, funded by the Spanish Club in a Charter School in Chandler. Our buildiing projects will be chosen as needs arise. If your church, school or family would like to build a home for a family you can donate with PayPal from our website or contact the president and make other arrangements.

Mr. Mark Mulligan,
Friends of Rancho de Ninos, Inc. is 501c3 organization in albuquerque, nm that have worked with orphanage in empalme, Mx. since 1986. the childrens needs are many and fall within the guidelines of your organization — under previleged! I strongly believe that both if our organizations could work together to enhance the need of many under previleged !! Our orphanned kids in many instances encounter institutionalization that could be overcomed by providing kids with “vocational skills” and/or on-the-job training to allow youth an avenue away from co-dependency and independent self sufficency. respectfully arturo r. sais
