CD Release Concert

Thank You San Carlos

The “Castaway Kids CD Release Party” was a tremendous success – With a crowd estimated to be in the 400-500 range, every one enjoyed the music of Trailer Trash, Royalty, Coconut Country ( Neil Duvall, Leslie and Bobby Sahlen, and Ron Daisley),

The Twins, Danny Moreno, Omar Arriaga, Eric Holland, Steve Smersh & Elba Santiago, Sam Rainwater and Mark Mulligan . Former Castaway Kids, President Susan Schauf, also sang a song, and current President Terry Lynn Challis, presented the “ Marshall

Award for Community Service” to Dick and Diane Newlon, longtime San Carlos residents, for their ongoing efforts for Rescate and many other community causes.   

We also want to thank Bananas, the Captains Club, Ruby Wine Bar, Sagitario, Rosa’s Cantina, La Trattoria, Marina Cantina, Barracuda Bobs, Piccolo Italian Restaurant, Soggy Peso, George’s Gift Shop, Iberri’s Pemex, Off the Edge ATV Rentals, the San Carlos Athletic Club, Espanglish Institute, Jennifer Bowman, Anna Sparks, Barbara Stelke, Rosa Keilholtz, Sylvia’s Exclusive Beauty Services,  and especially Raphael at La Palapa Griega for hosting the event (and for donating the free beer or margarita for every CD sold and a portion of the food sales), and countless others who donated items and their time to make the event a such a success.
